[Video: An AI assistant answering a wine price question with retail and auction references, past sales, reviews and current offers](https://wineauction.ai/guides/check-a-wine-price/answer.mp4) Asking what Sassicaia 2016 sells for at retail and at auction, and the answer with recent sales and critic scores. Captured Nov 2026.

## Ask

```
What does Sassicaia 2016 sell for at retail and at auction?
```

```
Which Meursault vintage is the best value right now?
```

```
Retail and auction price for each: Pingus 2018, Harlan Estate 2015, Screaming Eagle 2016.
```

Any language works: "Opus One 2018 多少钱".

## You get

- Retail: the lowest price on sale now, and how many offers it rests on.
- Auction: the median hammer price with buyer's premium, the number of sales and the last sale date.
- Critic reviews, past sales and who has it now, when asked.
- A link to the wine's page on WineAuction.

Prices are US dollars per 750 ml bottle.

## Tips

- Give the vintage. Prices differ a lot between vintages.
- A price based on one or two sales is weak. Ask to compare nearby vintages.
