Authentication: Claude and ChatGPT use WineAuction sign-in through OAuth. Codex and API clients can also use a Settings API key as a bearer token.

Set up in ChatGPT

In ChatGPT web, use Settings → Apps → Create after developer mode is enabled for your workspace or account.

Add the server URL, keep OAuth enabled, scan tools, then sign in with your WineAuction account when ChatGPT asks to connect.

Set up in Claude

In Claude, go to Customize → Connectors, add a custom connector, and enter the remote MCP server URL.

Leave OAuth client fields empty for automatic registration, connect, then sign in with WineAuction before asking wine market questions.

Other clients

Apps that support remote MCP generally need the same public HTTPS endpoint and a bearer token or OAuth connection.
