Weingut Keller is Rheinhessen's most internationally celebrated estate, founded by Klaus Keller in Florsheim-Dalsheim and now run by his son Klaus Peter Keller — widely regarded as one of Germany's greatest living winemakers. The estate's Grosses Gewachs Rieslings from the Dalsheimer Hubacker and Westhofener Kirchspiel vineyards have achieved cult status since the early 2000s, with multiple vintages receiving 100-point scores from Parker's Wine Advocate and Jancis Robinson. G-Max, a single barrel selection from the estate's oldest Riesling vines, is among the world's most sought-after wines — produced in fewer than 300 bottles per year, with auction prices regularly exceeding EUR 1,000 per bottle. At auction, 132 lots have traded at an extraordinary average of $293, ranging from $14 to $2,375. Von der Fels (entry-level Riesling Trocken) leads volume at 50 lots averaging $53; Hubacker GG averages $292 across 42 lots; Kirchspiel GG averages $303 across 18 lots. The $2,375 ceiling almost certainly reflects G-Max. Keller's wines are allocated exclusively on a mailing list; obtaining allocation is among Germany's most competitive wine requests.
