About Prieure Roch
Henry-Frédéric Roch founded Domaine Prieuré-Roch in 1988 at Premeaux-Prissey, just south-west of Nuits-Saint-Georges, buying the Clos Goillotte in Vosne-Romanée the same year. His aim was to make wine as naturally as possible, by traditional methods and without chemical products, and the estate is farmed biodynamically and certified organic. It grew to about fourteen hectares, including Chambertin-Clos-de-Bèze, Clos-Vougeot, Vosne-Romanée Les Suchots and the Clos des Corvées monopole in Nuits-Saint-Georges. Yannick Champ, who arrived as a trainee in 2002, became co-manager in 2010. Roch died in November 2018.
