Hundred Acre was founded by Jayson Woodbridge in 2000, producing small-lot Cabernet Sauvignon from three distinct Napa Valley vineyard sources: Kayli Morgan Vineyard in the southern Napa hills, The Ark Vineyard on Howell Mountain, and Few and Far Between on the valley floor. The project gained rapid collector attention after earning multiple 100-point scores from Robert Parker, with the 2013 vintages widely considered the producer's finest work to date. Across 2,748 auction lots, Hundred Acre averages $484 per lot — placing it among California's most expensive regular auction offerings — with individual lots reaching $2,868. The Few and Far Between bottling leads at $540 average across 353 lots, with 2013 as the top vintage. Morgan's Way Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon achieves $546 average across 148 lots, the portfolio's highest per-wine average. The Ark Vineyard ($503/351 lots) and Deep Time Kayli Morgan ($400/392 lots) round out the core program. Woodbridge also produces Cabernet-based wines under the Caravan label and a small Chardonnay program. The mailing list allocation model limits new-release availability, directing significant collector acquisition toward the secondary market. Each vineyard site is vinified separately, with natural yeast fermentation, extended maceration, and predominantly new French oak aging producing wines of extraordinary concentration. Hundred Acre's consistently high auction realization rates — frequently exceeding presale estimates by 20–30% — reflect the sustained demand cultivated by perfect scores and scarcity.
