Rocche dei Manzoni is a Barolo estate in Monforte d'Alba founded by Valentino Migliorini in 1974, representing one of the pioneering estates of the Barolo modernist movement. Migliorini was an early adopter of French barrique ageing and new winemaking techniques, producing Barolo and Dolcetto that sat outside traditional Langhe conventions. The estate's flagship wines include Vigna Roul Barolo (from the Roul vineyard in Monforte d'Alba), Pianpolvere Soprano Riserva 7 Anni (aged 7 years in a combination of large casks and barriques), and Cappella di Santo Stefano (a Chardonnay-Pinot Nero blend in Champagne method). Valentino Migliorini was one of Barolo's earliest modernist producers, adopting French barrique ageing in the 1970s before the movement became controversial in the 1990s debates between traditionalists and modernists.

Pianpolvere Soprano Riserva 7 Anni is aged for a full seven years — four in cask and three in bottle — before release, making it one of Barolo's most extensively aged Riserva expressions.
