About Domaine d'Auvenay

Domaine d'Auvenay is the personal estate of Lalou Bize-Leroy, set in the hills above Saint-Romain where she lived with her husband Marcel Bize. It grew from family vines she had inherited jointly with her sister Pauline and later came to hold alone. The domaine first concentrated on white wine from Auxey-Duresses and Meursault, then added parcels in Puligny-Montrachet and Meursault including Chevalier-Montrachet, Criots-Bâtard-Montrachet and Bâtard-Montrachet, as well as the reds Bonnes-Mares and Mazis-Chambertin. It follows the same exacting farming approach as her Domaine Leroy.
