About Hundred Acre
Hundred Acre is the Napa Cabernet project of Jayson Woodbridge, a Canadian who left investment banking for wine. His venture began in 2000 with a ten-acre clay knoll on the Silverado Trail between St. Helena and Calistoga, recommended by vineyard manager Jim Barbour. He named it Kayli Morgan after his daughter and his first partner's daughter. Philippe Melka consulted in the early years. The Ark Vineyard on Glass Mountain above St. Helena gave its first wine in 2005, and Few and Far Between, above the Eisele vineyard, first released a 2008. Other bottlings include Deep Time, and Woodbridge's company also runs the Fortunate Son and Summer Dreams labels.
