The estate's 92 hectares of vineyards, planted predominantly with Sémillon (90%) and Sauvignon Blanc (10%), benefit from the Ciron river's morning mists that encourage Botrytis cinerea. Ownership passed to AXA Millésimes in 1992, which modernised the cellar and stabilised quality. The flagship Château Suduiraut Premier Cru Classé is the dominant auction lot with 716 sales averaging $112 per bottle, with prices reaching $1,599 for exceptional vintages. The 2001 is the estate's benchmark year, offering a decade-defining botrytis expression with extraordinary concentration; 2009 and 1989 are also highly regarded. Second wine Castelnau de Suduiraut trades notably higher in average terms ($176) owing to selective lot composition, typically drawing from declassified barrels of the grand vin. At auction the estate's 1,796 lots average $125 per bottle across a wide price spread ($25–$1,599). Suduiraut's relative value compared to d'Yquem drives strong collector interest: benchmark vintages routinely achieve 95+ Parker points yet trade at a fraction of d'Yquem prices. Investment-grade cases tend to be 6×75cl and 12×75cl presentations of 2001, 1989, 2009, and 2015.
