About Henri Boillot
The Boillot family estate was founded in 1885 by Henri Boillot's grandfather, the first of the family to work the vines it already owned, and was greatly expanded by Henri's father Jean. Henri joined in 1975 and became its winemaker. He set up his own négoce business in 1995, built cellars in Meursault in 2000 and in 2005 bought out his brother's and sister's shares to keep the whole domaine. His son Guillaume joined in 2008, and in 2011 the Meursault cellars were enlarged and vineyards bought in Puligny-Montrachet, including Bâtard. Since 2012 Guillaume has led the vineyard work and the red-wine vinification.
