About Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey
Pierre-Yves Colin, eldest son of the Saint-Aubin grower Marc Colin, set up the Colin-Morey label in Chassagne-Montrachet in 2001 with his wife Caroline Morey, whose family has grown vines in Chassagne since the sixteenth century. He left the family domaine in 2005 to devote himself to his own winery. The business now farms about 13 hectares across Saint-Aubin, Chassagne-Montrachet, Santenay, Puligny-Montrachet and Meursault, with its heart in Saint-Aubin premiers crus such as La Chatenière, Champlots and En Remilly and in Chassagne's Chenevottes and Caillerets. Caroline founded her own domaine in 2014, and the couple share a cellar.
