Justin Vineyard & Winery is a leading Paso Robles producer founded in 1981 by Justin and Deborah Baldwin on the Adelaida side of the Paso Robles AVA, on a remote hillside property at 1,500 feet elevation in the Santa Lucia Range foothills. The estate is best known for Isosceles — a Bordeaux-style blend of approximately 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Cabernet Franc, and 20% Merlot that has been the appellation's benchmark collector wine since the early 1990s. A Reserves version of Isosceles, produced from the estate's most prized parcels, offers additional complexity. The straight Cabernet Sauvignon and Justification (a Cabernet Franc-Merlot blend) complete the reserve tier. Justin was acquired by Roll International in 2010 and subsequently became part of The Wonderful Company's wine portfolio, which has maintained quality while scaling production. Isosceles Reserve is the top auction performer, earning 92–95 points from Parker and Spectator; the standard Isosceles earns 90–93 points regularly. With 612 lots averaging $73 per bottle, Justin trades at accessible Paso Robles prices — strong value for a benchmark appellation producer. The estate's hillside site, limestone-influenced Calcareous soils, and maritime cooling from nearby Pacific gaps give the wines a freshness unusual for the broader Paso Robles appellation.
