Spring Mountain Vineyard is a historic Napa Valley estate on the Spring Mountain District in the Mayacamas Mountains above St. Helena, one of the mountain AVAs producing Napa's most structured and ageworthy Cabernet Sauvignons. The estate was assembled over decades from three historic 19th-century vineyard properties: Miravalle, La Perla, and Chevalier — names that appear together in the Miravalle-La Perla-Chevalier bottling. The total estate covers 845 acres with 122 acres under vine at elevations of 800–2,400 feet. The flagship Cabernet Sauvignon Trois Cuvées is a selection from the estate's finest blocks. At auction, Spring Mountain averages $91 per bottle across 124 lots, with prices from $10 to $915 — the upper end driven by older vintages and large formats. The Spring Mountain District's volcanic and marine sedimentary soils produce Cabernet with distinctive herbal complexity, firm tannins, and exceptional aging capacity. Spring Mountain gained pop-culture fame as the filming location for the 1980s TV series Falcon Crest.
