About Clos des Lambrays
Clos des Lambrays is a walled red grand cru just south-west of the village of Morey-Saint-Denis on the Côte de Nuits. It was promoted from premier cru to grand cru, with its own appellation, in 1981. Of its 8.84 hectares, Domaine des Lambrays owns 8.66. Because Domaine Taupenot-Merme holds a small plot, it is not a true monopole. The wine is Pinot Noir.
