About Fixin
Fixin is a village appellation covering Fixin and Brochon in the northern Côte de Nuits. It may be used for red Pinot Noir and white Chardonnay, but about 96 per cent of the wine is red. There are no grand crus. In 2008 about 96 hectares were in production at village and premier cru level, making just over half a million bottles of red and about 20,000 of white.
