About Mazoyeres-Chambertin
Mazoyères-Chambertin is a red grand cru in Gevrey-Chambertin, created in 1937. It lies below the Route des Grands Crus, south of Charmes-Chambertin and next to Morey-Saint-Denis premier cru vineyards. Its growers may sell the wine as Charmes-Chambertin instead, and most do, so only about a tenth is bottled under the Mazoyères name. It is unrelated to Mazis-Chambertin despite the similar name.
